   I found a bug with disabling plugin for Outlook. I would like to disable "Adobe Document Cloud for Microsoft Outlook - Acrobat" via group policy by adding an option bAdobeSendPluginToggle to the registry according to the Adobe instructions:

5. acrobat reader application stuck while closing

   After updated windows 11 in my pc. i tried to open pdf files from acrobat reader. files opens without any issue after used or read the files try to close files not closing files are stuck some time close automatically after duration but some time not closing with help of task manager end acrobat services then only acrobat reader application release the files.

6. Add preferance setting or option to not show tools or bookmarks by default for all documents

   There should be an option to open files/adobe with Tools and Bookmarks NOT enabled. It is very annoying and inefficient to close those 2 windows every time i open Adobe to read a PDF. See pic of how files open by default, not very useful to see the document contents with a smaller window/screen without closing the undesired left/right bars.

8. Problem with reopening tabs from previous session

   I have been using Acrobat Reader for quite some time now and one of the features that I rely on is the ability to reopen all the tabs that were open in the previous session, since I usually have at least 20 to 30 tabs open. Occasionally when the program is starting, I get error messages that indicates there was a problem opening some of the files from the previous session, but there wasn't any details to further explain the error. I recently figured out what is happening. It looks like the Recent files as seen on the Home window only contains the last 100 recently opened documents. Any documents that are beyond that 100 are pushed off the bottom of the list. If any of the currently open tabs are older than the 100 documents in the Recent list their file pathname is lost and when the application is reopened, the program has no way of reopening those tabs because they were not in the Recent list when the application was last closed. It would be a good idea to retain those open tabs file pathnames separately from the Recent list, so this error would not occur.

   Adobe Reader Crashing When Embedded Link is Clicked Before "Start Your 7 Day Pro Trial" appears in the lower left hand corner of the screen. If the link is clicked before that appears, the application crashes entirely and generates this event.

17. High growing memory usage with Use Page Cache enabled

    When "Preferences > Page Display > (Rendering) Use Page Cache" is enabled (which is the default) then on some files memory can grow very quickly to many gigabytes causing the MacOS 14.4.1 (Sonoma) to want to Force Quit apps.

    Interestingly, if one changes focus to switch to another app or the Finder, then the high memory usage disappears, but switching back to Acrobat will have it grow again.

    The memory grows when scrolling to view other pages. One of the worst PDF file examples I found for this is the following file online (from Safari I used the option near the bottom of the window to load the PDF into Acrobat):

    Turning off Use Page Cache and quitting/launching Acrobat fixes the problem, but there is absolutely no reason for this bug. It appears that this problem occurs the most for PDF files where the pages are scans (i.e. a PDF file with a full size high res 300 dpi image on every page 2550 x 3300 pixels).

    What makes no sense is how even the entire file with raw file size of 128.5 MB and where even storing uncompressed 300 dpi images for all 155 images would only be 1.2 GB yet it can grow to at least 12 or 20 GB in memory usage! What is strange is that it isn't always this bad but the problem doesn't happen when Use Page Cache is off so this problem seems related to something going very wrong when the cache gets larger.

    This apparently is a known problem at Adobe since there are multiple posts over the years from Amal since at least 2020 so why isn't this problem fixed? At least there is the workaround of turning off Use Page Cache, but this option defaults to on so everyone will experience this once they start looking at PDF files with scanned pages.

    When "Preferences > Page Display > (Rendering) Use Page Cache" is enabled (which is the default) then on some files memory can grow very quickly to many gigabytes causing the MacOS 14.4.1 (Sonoma) to want to Force Quit apps.

    Interestingly, if one changes focus to switch to another app or the Finder, then the high memory usage disappears, but switching back to Acrobat will have it grow again.

19. New Layout is utterly counterproductive

    New layout of Adobe Reader is utterly counterproductive, and makes everyday use of Adobe Reader much slower and confusing.
    I, as well as many other users I know, am using Bookmarks and Pages in at least 95% of times when I use Reader. Therefore, they should be placed on the left, where they are expected to be (it is simply a standard for similar "master-detail" situations).
    Also, primary tools, like paging, zoom-in and -out, are placed in a bottom-right corner, just like they were hiding?! But these are the basic tools, and they must be placed centrally, either on top or on the bottom of the screen.
    On the other hand, toolbar with tools for commenting, highlighting, etc. is placed on the left side, taking unproportionally too much space on the screen, while it should be placed where toolbars usually are. I'm using these tools practically in less than 1% of times, so their current position is just annoying.
    There must be corresponding options, allowing users to customize positions of these UI elements, so we can place them to best suit out everyday needs.
